Description

The Marketing Assistant position will work with the Marketing and Communications Lead & Specialist to plan and create content for all of Springboard’s digital channels including containR, Fluid Fest, and Season Presenting. This position will be responsible for design, photography, and video production as well as content plans for social media and the website.

Responsibilities

  • Create digital content including photo, video, and graphic design for dissemination on social media and the Springboard website;
  • Seek out and present opportunities for social media improvements (increased engagement, visitation, followers, usability, etc.);
  • Attend containR events for video and photo documentation;
  • Alongside the marketing team, manage a social media content calendar and regularly engage with Springboard and containR audiences;
  • Organize and manage assets provided by artists, as well as content captured at events;
  • Provide on-site event support, including set-up, tear-down, and FOH support, as needed.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Adobe;
  • Familiarity with Mailchimp and social media platforms;
  • Comfortable working in virtual meeting environments;
  • Flexible schedule;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Self-motivated;
  • Ability to lift 20+ lbs;

Details

Employment length: 9 weeks working Wednesday to Sunday (Monday and Tuesday off)

Location: Calgary, partially on-site in Sunnyside at containR Art Park

Employment type: Part time

Hours per week: 30

Compensation: $17/hour
